In connection with the reading week and World Book Day and as a part of its golden jubilee celebrations, M.E.S Indian School recently organized a book fair at the K.G. Hall from 28th April to 1st May 2024 showcasing a diverse range of new books.
Dr. Hameeda Kadar, the school principal, inaugurated the fair and spoke about the importance of organizing such events in promoting reading habits among students. She remarked that book fairs are as significant as other academic activities and provide an excellent opportunity for children to expand their exposure to the world of books and authors.
The fair featured an array of books, including stories, word searches, art books, fiction, and various other genres, catering to the diverse interests of the students and staff. M/s Crescent Bookshop set up a stall with a vast collection of books, attracting enthusiastic participation from students, staff, and members of the school community. The school Scouts and Guides guided the students and maintained a proper ambience befitting the occasion.
