M.E.S MARKS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

International Women’s Day was celebrated with zest at M.E.S Indian School. A special gathering was arranged at the grass field of the school. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hameeda Kadar, the Principal emphasized the significance of women in the modern world and the increased responsibilities that they assume for the growth and development of society. She also urged them to realize their dreams and potential to make a positive impact on the society. Mrs. Fousiya Salim, a teaching faculty, the Department of Social Science presented the Principal with a memento.

To mark the occasion balloons were released into the open air. A Lucky Draw was conducted and the winners awarded. A cake-cutting ceremony was carried out in honour of women during the occasion. The Principal along with the school officials cut the cake prepared by the Department of Home Science. As a part of paying tribute to women, the gent staff of the school felicitated them with greeting cards wishing them happiness and thanking them for their inspiration. The occasion was graced by the presence of all the key functionaries of the school.
