PRIZES GALORE FOR M.E.S IN QATAR CHARITY LITERARY COMPETITIONS

In a competition that was conducted by Qatar Charity Community Social Development Centre – Communities to enhance students’ literary skill and showcase their talents and creativity, M.E.S Indian School won big with several prizes to its credit.

As many as 500 participants from KG 1 to Class 12 took part in various events such as colouring, action song, storytelling, completing the picture, poem recitation in English, Arabic & Malayalam, water colouring, clay modelling, elocution in Arabic, English & Malayalam, news reading in Malayalam, Arabic & English, pencil drawing, craft installation, group song – Malayalam, Arabic & English with great enthusiasm and secured prizes.

The winners were awarded certificates and mementoes during the prize-distribution ceremony, held on the 25th & 26th of April at the Qatar Charity Community Development Centre. Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal M.E.S Indian School received the certificate and memento for the outstanding participation of the school from Mrs Hind Al Rayyasi, an official from Qatar charity in the presence of Mr Habeeb Rahman Kunnath – Coordinator of Friends Cultural Centre and other dignitaries.

It was a moment of pride for the school when it was honoured with the highest student participation award and received a special memento and certificate. Mrs. Kavitha G.A, a teaching faculty trained students for a group song competition. Mr Anver.K and Mrs Sumitha Nassar coordinated the event. It was acclaimed that the unwavering dedication of the teachers was instrumental in training and guiding the students which eventually turned out to be a huge success.
