Adwaith Praveen, a class 11 student of M.E.S. Indian School, showcased exceptional talent at the QSFA Rapid FIDE Chess Championship 2025, held at the QCA Training Centre, Al Gharrafa, from 2nd to 3rd May 2025.
The event witnessed the participation of several chess players. Competing in the highly competitive Open-Individual category, Adwaith demonstrated outstanding strategic skill by making a clean sweep by winning all 7 rounds of the tournament, thus achieving a perfect score. His remarkable performance earned him the first rank, marking a proud moment for the school and the chess team.
