CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

PRE-PRIMARY CLASSES (KINDERGARTEN – I & II)

English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Conversation/ EVS/ Science, Art & Craft, P.T.,Music, Dance, yoga, DEAR period, Qatar History.

PRIMARY CLASSES (I TO IV)

English, Mathematics, E.V.S., Qatar History, Islamic Studies/Moral Science. Art & Craft, Music, Dance, Physical Education, ICT and General Knowledge are included as graded subjects in classes I to IV.

Second Language – (Hindi/Malayalam/French/Arabic/Urdu/Tamil)
Third Language – (Hindi/Malayalam/French/Arabic/Urdu/Tamil)
(Class II – IV)

Those who opt for French/ Malayalam/ Urdu/ Arabic/ Tamil as second language shall learn Hindi as third language. However, Hindi will be taught either as second or third language.
These subject will be offered only if sufficient number of students opt.

MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASSES (V TO VIII)

English, Modern Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Qatar History, Physical Education, Art Education, Work Education, General Knowledge and Artificial intelligence.

Second Language – (Hindi/Malayalam/French/Arabic/Urdu/Tamil)
Third Language – (Arabic/ Malayalam/ Urdu/French/Hindi)
(Class V – VIII)

Those who opt French/ Malayalam/Tamil/Arabic/Urdu as second language shall learn Hindi as third language. However, Hindi will be taught either as second or third language to students of Indian nationality

Note:

For other nationalities, Hindi is not compulsory either as Second or Third language.
Qatar History, Islamic Studies/Moral Education is compulsory in classes V to VIII.

SECONDARY CLASSES (IX & X)

English Language & Literature, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Qatar History. Value education, Health Education and Physical Education, Art Education and Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence (IX),Information Technology(IX),Artificial Intelligence(X),Optional Advance Mathematics and Advanced Science (IX) will be the subjects for internal assessment.
Second Language – (Hindi/French/Malayalam/Arabic/ Urdu/Tamil)

NOTES:

The scheme of subjects may be changed as required/advised by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
Change of optional subjects in class XI after the First Term will not be entertained. No such change in class XII.
Topics/paragraphs/references/quotations/diagrams that are against the principles of Islam and the laws of the host country, if found in the textual material, will be deleted.
