In conjunction with World Environment Day, the Kindergarten Section of M.E.S. Indian School observed Green Day with excitement, creativity, and a strong message of environmental awareness. The event brought together students, parents, and staff in a joyful celebration that aligned with the core values of the Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030.
The celebration began with a cheerful warm-up session, followed by a moving performance of the action song “Heal the World.” A colourful ramp walk featured students dressed as various green objects and animals, each carrying a message about the importance of saving nature. Students also performed dances, spreading joy while reinforcing their bond with nature. Teachers led interactive discussions about key environmental habits like keeping surroundings clean, saving water, and reducing waste. A special seed-sowing activity provided a hands-on experience for the young students, teaching them how small actions can lead to significant changes on Earth.
The event was made even more special with the active participation of parents, who joined in the celebrations and supported their children throughout the day. The school Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar, applauded the dedicated efforts of the teachers in organising such an eventful celebration and thanked the parents for their enthusiastic involvement and continued support.
