M.E.S Indian School demonstrated yet again its cultural and artistic supremacy by emerging as the Overall Champion at Kalanjali 2025, an inter-school cultural competition for Indian schools in Qatar organised by Media Pen and held at Ideal Indian School from October 25 to 31, 2025. With a remarkable team tally of 1610 points, MES set a new benchmark in the realm of inter-school competitions, proudly taking home the coveted Overall Championship Trophy.
This year’s edition of Kalanjali-2025 witnessed enthusiastic participation from 29 schools, making it a vibrant celebration of creativity, talent, and skill. From M.E.S Indian School, 1,046 students took part in over 200 events across a wide spectrum—dance, music, fine arts, and literary competitions—and secured prizes in more than 120 events, a testament to the school’s exceptional training and student dedication. A crowning moment of the event was when Darshanth Krishna, a talented student from Class 3, was conferred the prestigious ‘Kalapradibha’ title in the Sub-Junior Category, earning admiration and applause for his outstanding all-round performance in multiple art forms.
The championship trophy was presented by H.E. Vipul, Ambassador of India to Qatar. Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal of M.E.S Indian School, accompanied by the school’s event coordinators and teachers, received the honour with great pride, marking a historic milestone in the school’s legacy of excellence.
The school’s participation was meticulously coordinated by Mr Anver, Mrs Sumitha Nassar, and Mr Harshan, supported by a dedicated team of teachers across several Departments. The principal, Management, and Governing Board of the school extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire Team M.E.S for their outstanding achievement.
