M.E.S. Indian School achieved remarkable success at the ‘Teenpreneur Pitch Perfect Challenge – Season 2’, hosted recently at DPS Modern Indian School. This engaging event aimed to foster entrepreneurship and creative thinking among students from Indian schools in Qatar, providing a platform for young innovators to showcase their ideas.
The competition was divided into three categories: Classes 6-8 (Category I), Classes 9-10 (Category II), and Classes 11-12 (Category III). Each team consisted of three students representing their school, pitching business concepts to a panel of judges and live audience. Participants exhibited exceptional creativity, business acumen, and presentation skills across two sessions: a presentation round followed by an interactive Q&A with judges, who posed insightful questions to explore idea viability.
In Category I, “Aurasense” by Jenna Ayesha Mahir, Riham Shahanaz, and Rayna Fathima secured first position for their innovative concept. In Category II, “Simar” by Rayan Majeed, Aaesha Fathima Basheer, and Afrah Fathima Nijas claimed first place with a compelling business model. In Category III, “Strawstyle” by Shiza Zainab, Vishnu Vinod Krishnan, and Vaibhav Rajesh Nambiar earned 2nd position, sparking engaging discussions during the interactive session.
This triumph was supported by dedicated training and meticulous coordination from the members of the teaching faculty, Mrs Aswathy R. N. and Mrs Simi Johnson of the Commerce Department. Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal of M.E.S. Indian School, lauded the students’ spectacular performance, noting, ‘This emphatic win reflects the school’s emphasis on nurturing entrepreneurial minds ready to innovate and lead.”
