Demonstrating exceptional talent and determination, Zainab Maryamof Grade V, Kevin Joseph of Grade 10 clinched gold medals in 2 km and 5 km race respectively in the Media One Doha Run, held at Al Bidda Park and etched her name in the annals of sporting excellence. Adding to the school’s glory, Noor Khan of Grade V secured the gold medal in the SFA Resolution Run, which took place at Muntaza Park, showcasing her endurance and competitive spirit.
Further elevating the school’s sporting achievements, Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications provider, hosted the renowned Ooredoo Doha Marathon on Friday, 16 January 2026. The marathon, internationally recognised and honoured with the prestigious World Athletics Gold Label, witnessed participation from elite athletes and young talents alike.
M.E.S students delivered commendable performances at this global event as well. Noor Khan U 13 category and Master Kevin Joseph U 16 category secured third position in 5 Km race, while Zainab Maryam (Grade V) achieved an impressive seventh position, competing against a strong field of runners. These outstanding accomplishments of the students were appreciated by the school Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar.
