An inter-school art competition was recently held at Spectra Global School in conjunction with Qatar National Day, bringing together young artistic talents from several schools across Qatar. The competition was organised to nurture creativity and provide a platform for students to express their appreciation and love for the nation through art.
Sohan Sandeep of Grade 6 from M.E.S. Indian School emerged as the First Prize winner, impressing the judges with his exceptional creativity, originality, and thoughtful interpretation of the theme. The theme of the competition, ‘Qatar in Our Hearts,’ inspired participants to creatively depict Qatar’s rich heritage, culture, and national pride through imaginative and visually compelling artworks. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and an impressive display of artistic skills by students. The student was accompanied by his art teacher, Mr Suresh, whose guidance and encouragement played a vital role in nurturing the student’s artistic abilities. The school Principal commended effort of the winner and appreciated the dedication of the art teacher.
