RAMADAN RADIANCE: A CELEBRATION OF FAITH AND TALENT CONDUCTED AT M.E.S

With a primary objective to instill Islamic values and promote cultural awareness among young learners during the holy month of Ramadan, the Department of Arabic, Urdu, and Islamic Studies of M.E.S Indian School organized a series of vibrant intra-school competitions under the title Ramadan Radiance. The programme featured Arabic Speech (Elocution), Adhan, and Arabic Calligraphy competitions and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various grades.

The results of the competitions were as follows. In the Junior Category of Arabic Elocution, the First Prize was awarded to Eisa Muhammed Shanavas (6-A), the Second Prize to Maliha Fatima (5-O), and the Third Prize to Ammar Mohammed Irshadullah (6-E). In the Intermediate Category of Arabic Elocution, Maryam Rishad (7-M) secured the First Prize, Abdullah Mohammad Sajid (8-D) won the Second Prize, and Khadeeja Mujeeb (8-Q) received the Third Prize.

In the Junior Category of the Adhan competition, the First Prize was bagged by Ammar Mohammed Farooq (6-D), the Second Prize by Muhammed Shahzil (6-J), and the Third Prize was jointly awarded to Abdul Hanna (6-F) and Ahsan Sha (6-J). In the Intermediate Category of Adhan, Muhammad Umair Mujeeb (7-C) secured the First Prize, Aasim Ismayil (7-B) won the Second Prize, and Ahmad Zayan (7-B) received the Third Prize.

An impressive Arabic Calligraphy Exhibition was also organized as part of the programme, showcasing the creativity, artistic skills, and dedication of the students. The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, during which the Principal, Dr. Hameeda Kadar awarded certificates and trophies to the winners. She encouraged the participants and appreciated their commendable performances and enthusiasm. The entire event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Usman Mayyeri, Head of the Department of Arabic, Urdu, and Islamic Studies, with the dedicated support of his team of teachers. The programme stood as a meaningful celebration of faith, talent, and learning, truly reflecting the spirit of Ramadan.
