Honouring Every Hand: M.E.S. Indian School (Evening Shift) Celebrates International Labour Day

M.E.S. Indian School, Evening Shift, commemorated International Labour Day with great enthusiasm and gratitude through a special assembly. The programme included a mono act by Zoya Afroz, a speech by Praniti Agarwal highlighting the importance of every role, and a meaningful skit by the Scouts and Guides. Tokens of appreciation, along with handmade bouquets prepared by students were presented to all the support staff. Principal Dr. Hameeda Kadar addressed the gathering, reinforcing the dignity of labour, in the presence of Senior Vice Principal Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath and Headmistress Mrs. Sameena Ashfaq.

 

In the Kindergarten section, students came dressed as various professionals and participated in a lively warm-up jingle. Students of Grades 1 and 2 also showcased different professions through creative dress-up, adding colour and meaning to the celebration. The school reaffirmed its commitment to instilling respect, gratitude, and social responsibility among students.
