In a remarkable display of sporting excellence and competitive spirit, the cricket teams of MES Indian School delivered an outstanding performance at the School Olympic Programme (SOP) Cricket Tournament for Boys, organised by the Qatar Cricket Association at West End Park International Stadium.
Competing in all three divisions — Primary, Preparatory, and Secondary — MES teams showcased extraordinary talent, discipline, teamwork, and determination throughout the prestigious tournament, which witnessed the participation of 20 leading public and private schools from across Qatar. Culminating their inspiring campaign with resounding success, the Preparatory and Secondary category teams emerged as champions, securing top honours through their exceptional performances and unwavering spirit of sportsmanship. Adding further glory to the institution, the Primary category team achieved the runner-up position, reflecting the school’s consistent excellence across all levels of competition. The grand prize distribution ceremony was held on 5 May at the Aspire Dome, where the awards were presented by Khaled Al Suwaidi, Chief Executive Officer of the Qatar Cricket Association.
Expressing immense pride and appreciation, the Principal of MES Indian School, Dr. Hameeda Kadar, congratulated the victorious teams and commended their remarkable achievements.
