MES Indian School delivered a commendable performance at the CBSE Qatar Cluster Taekwondo Championship 2026, held at Loyola International School, achieving an impressive medal tally and securing distinguished team rankings across multiple age categories.
Demonstrating exceptional prowess, resilience, and sportsmanship, the MES girls’ team emerged as a formidable force, clinching an outstanding tally of 8 gold, 8 silver medals, and 8 bronze medals. Their exemplary performances earned the school the prestigious distinction of First Runner-Up in all three girls’ categories: U-14, U-17, and U-19.
The boys’ team also delivered a remarkable performance, securing 4 silver medals and 21 bronze medals, thereby making a significant contribution to the school’s overall success and medal standings. The girls’ team was expertly guided by Ms. Mariam Sameer, who also served as an official for the championship, officiating during the tournament. Mr. Mohammed Navas coached the boys’ team, while Mr. Aboobacker served with distinction as the Tournament Official and Team Manager for the boys’ team. The teams were additionally supported by Ms. Reshma C. A. and Ms. Kabia Badoni, who fulfilled their roles as Team Managers with dedication and commitment.
