M.E.S. Indian School (Evening Shift) organized a vibrant and engaging welcome programme for KG1 students, marking the beginning of the academic year 2026–2027. The initiative was thoughtfully designed to provide a warm, friendly, and stress-free environment for the young learners stepping into school life for the first time.
The school campus was beautifully decorated with colourful balloon arches and attractive welcome boards, while soft background music created a cheerful ambience. A lively clown and a creative crayon box display added excitement, bringing smiles and comfort to the children as they arrived.
The occasion was graced by the Principal Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Senior Vice Principal Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath, and Headmistress Mrs. Sameena Ashfaq, who warmly welcomed and encouraged the students. The Scouts & Guides extended a disciplined reception.
Teachers engaged the children with lively songs, jingles, and simple classroom activities that promoted interaction and confidence. A cheerful mascot and photo booth created memorable moments, while thoughtful takeaways added a special touch.
