M.E.S. Indian School celebrated the Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony, “ALITAS 2026 – Fluttering to the Future,” at the school Conference Hall, marking a significant milestone in the academic and personal journey of its young learners. The event beautifully highlighted the children’s growth, creative accomplishments, and the cultural awareness they gained throughout the year.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. B. M. Sidhique, President of the M.E.S. Governing Board, as the Chief Guest, along with Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Principal of the school. In a symbolic and heartwarming gesture, the Chief Guest opened a special gift box from which butterfly balloons soared into the air carrying a scroll—representing the children’s transformation and their flight towards a bright and promising future. In her inspiring address, Dr. Hameeda Kadar congratulated the young graduates and encouraged them to continue their journey of learning with curiosity and confidence. The programme was confidently anchored by the tiny tots of KG II, who impressed the audience with their poise and enthusiasm.
One of the major highlights of the celebration was the vibrant “Walk of Wonders,” a colourful ramp walk that showcased the confidence and charm of the young participants. This was followed by a lively dance performance titled “Radiant Star” by the energetic students of KG I. The Graduation Song presented by the KG II students filled the hall with pride and emotion. A touching segment titled “Cherishing Moments” featured Master Ammar Abdul Khaliq of Senior Kindergarten, who fondly reflected on the Kindergarten journey on behalf of his peers. This was followed by an address from a parent representative, expressing gratitude and appreciation. Adding to the emotional atmosphere, Ms. Zoya Mather of KG I-J delivered a heartfelt farewell message on behalf of the junior kindergarteners.
The much-awaited Graduation March saw the KG II students, accompanied by their class teachers, walking down the aisle with confidence and joy. The graduates were felicitated with mementos by the Chief Guest, directors, and members of the Governing Board. The ceremony concluded with the solemn Graduation Oath administered by the Principal, marking the official transition of the young learners to the next stage of their academic journey. Earlier, Ms. Sufera Ashraf, Head of Section – Kindergarten, welcomed the gathering, and Ms. Suja Mathew, Academic Coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks. The event stood as a joyful celebration of growth, confidence, and new beginnings, leaving lasting memories for students, parents, and staff alike.
