The office bearers of the CBSE Gulf Sahodaya, Qatar Chapter were formally appointed during the Principal’s Forum of the Qatar Chapter of Gulf Sahodaya, held recently at Crowne Plaza, Kochi, India. The prestigious forum witnessed the participation of school leaders from across the Gulf region and served as a significant platform for deliberations on contemporary educational leadership and best practices.
Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal of M.E.S. Indian School, was selected as the President of CBSE Gulf Sahodaya, Qatar Chapter, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the CBSE fraternity. Dr Maneesh Mangal, Principal of Podar Pearl School, was appointed the Convener, Gulf Sahodaya, Qatar Chapter for his dynamic leadership and Mr Jacob Mathew, Principal, Olive International School was appointed the Secretary, Gulf Sahodaya, Qatar Chapter for his commitment to institutional coordination. In a significant development at the regional level, Mrs Asna Nafees, Principal, DPS Modern Indian School, was appointed the Secretary of Gulf Sahodaya, reflecting the confidence in her leadership at the pan-Gulf level.
The event was graced by Padma Shri awardee and renowned Paralympic icon, Ms Deepa Malik, as the Chief Guest. Her presence and inspiring address left a lasting impact on the delegates, as she shared profound insights on resilience, perseverance, and inclusive leadership. Mr Jai Prakash Chaturvedi, Director (Affiliation), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), attended the forum as the Guest of Honour, lending valuable perspectives on the evolving landscape of CBSE education.
