CELEBRATORY FAREWELL EXTENDED TO THE GRADUATING BATCH OF M.E.S

M.E.S. Indian School organised a graduation ceremony, ‘Au Revoir’ to bid farewell to a total of 515 Class XII students belonging to the 2025-26 batch amidst jubilation at the Conference Hall recently, celebrating the achievements and journey of the graduating students that marked the culmination of their schooling. Mr. Ahamed Isham, Director, Co-curricular & Cultural Activities, M.E.S Governing Board was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. During the felicitation ceremony, Mr. Kashif Jaleel, President officiating, Mr. Aneesh P.A., General Secretary officiating, directors and the members of the school governing board gave away certificates of merit and mementoes to the exceptionally vibrant students of Class XII, who excelled in their respective domains. All the major student officials, prefects, club secretaries, members of Scouts and Guides, Campus Care Force as well as students who secured 100% attendance during the academic year 2025-26 were given away with meritorious certificates and mementoes for their creditable contributions to the school on the occasion.

Syed Dawar Abbas (Science), Muhammad Patel (Commerce) and Maher Mehdi Rudra (Humanities) were adjudged as the Best Outgoing Students in the Boys’ Section, while Minha Manaf (Science), Nivedhya Sudhir (Commerce) and Alvina Sakeer (Humanities) won the Best Outgoing Student title in the Girls’ Section of the school. Mohamad Kamal Ali Badran and Hadiya Hashim were declared the Best All-Rounders of their respective sections. Kesav Shanker Mohan and Prarthana Shaju Nair won the Talent of the Year award. Mohammed Abdul Muqeet and Nimisha Liz Abraham were honoured with the title of Best Outgoing Prefect. Nasif Mohamed Ismail and Alina Elza Shaji won the title, Best Outgoing Sports Person of the year. Adnan Ashraf and Maria Theresa Jacob were honoured with the title, Best Outgoing All-Rounder in Sports. Abdul Hadi Hidayathulla and Diya Treasa Dijo were adjudged as the Best Outgoing Scout and

Guide, respectively. Mohammad Aiman Jamil and Fathima Sana Pookkayil were declared as the Best Outgoing Campus Care Force Members of the school. Joshua

John Mathew and Mayyasa Mujeeb Koyissery were declared as the Best Band Leader for the academic year 2025-2026. Students who maintained100% attendance throughout the academic year were duly honoured. In a truly astounding feat, Bharathi Prathyuksha was felicitated with a memento in recognition of her exceptional commitment and discipline, having maintained a flawless 100% attendance record consistently from Class 1 through Class 12 — a feat that stands as a testament to her unwavering dedication.

The school Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar, in her felicitation speech, congratulated the batch for successfully completing the final year of schooling and reminded the students of their ethical obligation towards parents and society. Mrs. Rema Devi, delivered a speech on behalf of the teaching fraternity. Student representatives, Khadija Helen and Aimen Jamal expressed their gratitude and emotions in their reflections and highlighted the valuable contributions of their alma mater in preparing them to face the future successfully. A song performance lent a musical treat and an emotional touch to the precious nostalgic moment.

Among those present on the occasion were the directors and the members of M.E.S Governing Board, and the school officials. Earlier, Evelyn Johnly, Assistant Head Girl, delivered the welcome address on the occasion while Ishan Bin Thasneef, Assistant Head Boy, expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the programme. The event was further enhanced by a vibrant cultural performance by the students, which added depth and colour to the ceremony, elevating the overall spirit of the occasion.
