FABULOUS PERFORMANCE BY M.E.S AT B.K MOHAMMED KUNHI INTERSCHOOL ELOCUTION COMPETITION 2025

Mohammed Aiman Jamil (Class 12), Aaesha Fathima Basheer, and Afrah Fathima—both Class 9 students of M E S Indian School—spoke eloquently to win accolades at the B.K Mohammed Kunhi Elocution Competition 2025, held recently under the theme ‘The Voices of Tomorrow’ at the Multipurpose Hall of MESIS, Abu Hamour. Organized by the MES Alumni Association and the MESAA Toastmasters Club, the event aimed to showcase and nurture the speaking talents of students, encouraging them to express their thoughts most eloquently.

Among 50 enthusiastic participants competing for various titles in both junior and senior categories, 13 students from MES Indian School reached the final round of the contest, displaying remarkable talent and eloquence. The competition included various categories tailored to different age groups and speaking styles, fostering a spirit of healthy competition.

In the Table Topic Junior category, Afrah Fathima from Class 9M earned a well-deserved second prize for her impromptu speech, impressing both judges and attendees alike with her quick thinking and expression. Mohammed Aiman Jamil from Class 12 secured the second prize for his inspirational speech in the senior category, showcasing his exceptional skills and confidence. Aaesha Fathima Basheer, another Class 9 student, secured the third prize in the Inspirational Speech senior category, delivering a motivational message that left a lasting impact on the audience.

During the award ceremony that followed, the contest winners were awarded certificates and mementoes for their achievements and participation. Coordinators and members of the Department of English, including Mrs. Atheen B, Mrs. Pushyami, Mr. D. Rex, and Mrs. Ishrat Fathima, trained the students for the event.
