The Evening Shift of MES Indian School celebrated Children’s Day on 13 November 2025 with great enthusiasm across Grades I–VIII and the Kindergarten section, reflecting the school’s commitment to joyful and value-based learning.
The assembly for Grades I–VIII began with a soulful prayer and the recitation of the school’s vision and mission. Principal Mrs. Hameeda Kadar extended her warm wishes, encouraging students to cherish their innocence, dream big, and uphold the school’s values. Senior Vice Principal Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath addressed the students, inspiring them on joy, learning, and character development, while Headmistress Mrs. Sameena Ashfaq appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and the teachers’ efforts.
Teachers enlivened the celebration with a vibrant dance, followed by a lively Zumba session. Literary and art activities, including drawing and colouring roses, speech presentations, letters to Chacha Nehru, and narrations of students’ happiest moments, provided avenues for creativity. A friendly throwball match between teachers and students of Grades VI–VIII added excitement and teamwork.
The Kindergarten section—KG I and KG II—celebrated with a colourful Dress-Up Day Assembly. Tiny tots, some dressed as Chacha Nehru, performed warm-up dances and enjoyed a special performance by their teachers. A short talk on Children’s Day taught them the values of love, care, and togetherness.
The day was a heartwarming celebration of fun, creativity, and learning, leaving every child with joyful memories.
