LITTERING AND COLOURFUL CEREMONY MARKS CULMINATION OF M.E.S REGALIA–2025 YOUTH FESTIVAL

The scintillating two-day youth festival, featuring over 2000 students in the Regalia-2025, at M.E.S Indian School, concluded with a valedictory ceremony held at the school’s Conference Hall on 31st May 2025. This event brought together students, teachers, distinguished guests, and parents in a vibrant celebration of talent and creativity.

The Regalia 2025 festival, showcasing an array of competitions, fulfilled its promise as a grand display of talent, with around 200 competitions across various categories held in multiple venues. This success involved the meticulous effort of more than 200 teaching and non-teaching staff members. The competitions included classical and folk dances, instrumental and vocal music performances, literary competitions, and offstage events designed to test the participants’ creativity and intellect. Events were thoughtfully organised into five categories: Sub Junior-1, Sub Junior-2, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior, ensuring that students of all age groups had the opportunity to participate and excel.

Mr. Fasalu P.P, Director of the M.E.S Governing Board, the Chief Guest at the valedictory ceremony, inaugurated the function and presented mementoes and certificates to the winners. Mr. Firos Kolathayil, Secretary, along with Mr. Faisal Mayan, Mr. Hashim N.M, Mr. Ansar T.K, Directors, and Mr. M.C. Muhamed and Mr. Shahid Ali, members of the M.E.S Governing Board, graced the occasion, distributing mementoes and certificates to the winners across various categories.

Imran Hisham and Lahan Latheef were awarded the Best Individual Artist title in the Sub Junior Category-I for boys and girls, respectively. Dharsanth Krishna secured the title of Best Individual Artist in the Sub Junior-II category (Boys), while Fathima Faisal claimed the title in the Sub Junior-II Category (Girls). Abhinav Vijith was named Best Individual Artist

 

 

in the Junior Category (Boys), and Hanan Mohamed Shameem in the Junior Category (Girls). Aasim Ismayil Parambath and Aaesha Fathima Basheer took home the Best Individual Artist title in the Intermediate Category for boys and girls, respectively. Mukesh Adithiyan Srinivasan and Evelyn Johnly won the Best Individual Artist title in the Senior Category for boys and girls, respectively.

In her address to the audience, Dr. Hameeda Kadar, the Principal, commended the winners for their brilliant achievements and acknowledged their perseverance and enthusiasm, which elevated their passion to new heights. There was a video presentation on the highlights of Regalia-2025 which showcased in a nutshell about the summary of the youth festival.

 

Among those present were distinguished members of the school governing board, key functionaries of M.E.S. Indian School, parents, teachers, and students. The cultural committee, led by Mr. Anver K., Mrs. Sumitha Abdulnasser, and Section Coordinators Mr. Harshan V (Boys’), Mrs. Sijila Das (Girls’), and Mrs. Uma Devi (Junior), significantly contributed to the seamless execution of Regalia 2025. Mrs Fiona D’ Cruz and Mrs Shalima Semeer welcomed and proposed a vote of thanks respectively to the event
