Master Athwif Abdullah (XI – G), a talented sprinter from M.E.S Indian School, has been selected to participate in the prestigious SGFI (School Games Federation of India) National Championship, scheduled to be held from 26th to 30th November 2025 in Haryana, India. The achievement has brought immense joy and honour to the entire school community.
During a recent school assembly, a felicitation ceremony was held, during which the jersey was unveiled. The School Management, along with the Sports Director, Mr Badarudheen Gulam, Principal Dr Hameeda Kader, and teachers from the Department of Physical Education, congratulated the athlete on his remarkable accomplishment.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr Hameeda Kader expressed pride, stating that the student’s selection for SGFI reflects the school’s commitment to promoting sports excellence. She also extended her best wishes to the athlete, Athwif Abdullah, and coach Mr Steeson K. Mathew.
