A total of 561 Class XII students from the golden batch of M.E.S Indian School were honoured during the graduation ceremony organized at the Conference Hall on 2nd January 2025. The school bade farewell to its 2024-25 batch amidst jubilation and exultation of students in a glittering ceremony that marked the culmination of their schooling. The Chief Guest, Mr. Dr Najeeb K P, President Officiating, M.E.S Governing Board congratulated the students on their successful completion and urged them to be ambitious about attaining goals in life, and exercise discretion as the paths of life in the world outside are diverse.
The directors and the members of the school governing board gave away certificates of merit and mementoes to the best outgoing students of various streams of Class XII, who excelled in their respective domains. All the major student officials, prefects, club secretaries, members of Scouts and Guides, Campus Care Force and students who secured 100% attendance during the academic year 2024-25 were given away with meritorious certificates and mementoes for their creditable contributions to the school on the occasion.
Master Nandakishor Santhosh (Science), Master Riswin Mathew Wilson (Commerce) and Master Ahmadullah Arif (Humanities) were adjudged as the best outgoing students in the Boys’ Section, while Miss Angeline Maria Laxon (Science), Miss Maliha Mumtaz Najeeb (Commerce) and Jiya Maria Jude (Humanities) won the best outgoing student title in the Girls’ Section of the school. Master Jenesh Satheesh Mathew (Boys’) and Miss Sheza Fatima were declared the best all-rounders. Master Jitheshadhitya N N (Boys’) and Miss Saavariya Arun Nambiar (Girls’) won the Talent of the Year award. Master Ahmad Faisal (Boys’) and Miss Steffi Vargheese Mathew (Girls’) were honoured with the title of best outgoing prefect. Jiju Abraham (Girls’) were declared as the best Sports Talents of the year. Master Faizan Irfan Ahmad (Boys’) and Miss Fathima Hanna P K were adjudged as the best outgoing Scout and Guide respectively. Master Abdullah Beig (Boys’), and Miss Bains Zainab (Girls’) were declared as the best outgoing Campus Care Force members of the school. Master Kevin Saji (Boys’) and Miss Jazaa Jasmin were declared as the best Band Leader.
The school Principal Dr Hameeda Kadar, in her felicitation speech, congratulated them for successfully completing the final year of schooling and urged them to adorn the mantle of perseverance as they embark on a new journey, and hold fast to the great ideals of M.E.S such as sincerity, honesty and hard work in their pursuit of future prospects. D.A.S. Rex, Coordinator, Department of English delivered a speech on behalf of the teaching fraternity. Students’ representatives, Master Aryan Unnikrishnan and Miss Onaisa Rashid in their reflections expressed their gratitude and highlighted the significant role and valuable contributions of their alma mater in preparing them to face the future successfully. Although the overriding tone was cheerful, there was also a tinge of sadness about parting from their schoolmates and beloved teachers. Representing teachers. A medley of songs and dance performances in fusion, lent a musical treat and an emotional touch besides bringing forth the precious nostalgic moments of students’ life at M.E.S.
Among those present on the occasion included the members of the M.E.S Governing Board, and the school officials. Earlier, Miss Hadiya, Asst. Head Girl welcomed the attendees, and Master Mohamad Kamal Ali Badran, Asst. Head Boy proposed a vote of thanks for the function.
