Indian School, Doha, celebrated Teachers’ Day with a vibrant programme. The celebration paid tribute to the dedication, commitment and invaluable contributions of its teaching fraternity, whose unwavering efforts continue to leave a lasting impression on generations of students.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal, M.E.S. Indian School, highlighted the profound and enduring influence teachers on the lives of students. She urged teachers to remain humble in the discharge of their responsibilities, uphold school policies, and carry out their duties with compassion, commitment and integrity, while maintaining a harmonious balance between empathy and wisdom. Mr Shihabudeen Pulath, Senior Vice Principal, along with school officials representing all sections, conveyed their warm greetings, best wishes and appreciation to the teaching fraternity for their dedicated service.
An interactive session highlighting the significance and nobility of the teaching profession provided an engaging platform for reflection and participation. A specially curated video presentation capturing the cherished memories, experiences, and invaluable contributions of teachers who have rendered 1 to 35 years of dedicated service and journey at M.E.S added a deeply nostalgic dimension to the celebration. The occasion also witnessed the recognition of teachers from all sections who achieved 100% attendance during the academic year 2025–26, acknowledging their exemplary dedication, punctuality and commitment to their professional responsibilities.
As a mark of appreciation and gratitude, all school officials and teachers were complimented with Teachers’ day gifts in recognition of their dedicated service, steadfast commitment and valuable contributions to the institution. The celebration concluded on a lively and memorable note with a vibrant cultural programme, providing teachers with an opportunity to showcase their talents. Earlier, Mr Sameer Pandey, attired as Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, wished teachers. Ms Safwa Konnola delivered a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the celebration. The event was meticulously coordinated by Mr. Anver K, Ms. Sumitha Abdunassar, Ms. Fency Pathrose, and Heads of Sections, whose dedicated efforts contributed significantly to its effective execution.
