M.E.S CELEBRATES TEACHERS’ DAY WITH GRANDEUR, SALUTING ITS TORCHBEARERS OF KNOWLEDGE

MES Indian School commemorated Teachers’ Day with great reverence and enthusiasm, honouring the invaluable contributions of its teaching faculty. An impressive ceremony was conducted at the K G Hall of the School to felicitate teachers for their unwavering commitment in shaping young minds.

Mr Kashif Jaleel, President Officiating, Dr K.P Najeeb (General Secretary), M E S Governing Board, Directors, Members of the school Governing Board, and school officials were among others present on the occasion.

Teachers were paid glowing tribute on this momentous occasion, for their commendable service rendered towards the betterment of the younger generation. Extending a hearty felicitation, Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Principal of MES Indian School, in her inspiring message, remarked, “Teachers are the torchbearers of progress who make a profound impact on every learner’s life. Their dedication, integrity, and compassion are the foundation of quality education and road roadmap for many other professions in society. Today, we honour not just their profession, but their profound impact on every learner’s life.”

Teachers who had 100% attendance in the academic year 2024-2025 were honoured. This was followed by a cultural segment led by the teachers, which included a medley of group songs, dance, skits, and fun games for the teachers. The winners of various fun-filled games conducted as part of the Teachers’ Day celebrations were awarded with prizes and trophies. A lucky draw was conducted, and lucky winners from each section of the school were selected and given prizes. A video presentation showcasing love and respect for all teachers added merit to the programme. Mrs Magdeline Sylvia and Mr Davidson, members of the teaching faculty, welcomed the attendees and proposed a vote of thanks respectively.

On Thursday, 4th September 2025, a special programme was conducted by the members of the student council at the KG Hall in which students paid glowing tribute to their mentors for their guidance and support through speeches. Ms. Annette Hannah, the Head of Clubs and Activities, welcomed the gathering. The event featured a well-curated cultural programme, organised by students, which included classical and contemporary dance performances, musical renditions, thematic skits, and poetic tributes—each highlighting the pivotal role of teachers
