M.E.S Indian School was adjudged the overall champion at the 15th Edition of Pravasi Sahityotsav – Campus Sahityotsav, a prestigious national-level two-day art and literary competition. M.E.S. has secured this prestigious title for the third time. The offstage events of the competition were held on 22 January 2026 at British Modern International School, while the onstage events were conducted on 23 January 2026 at the Multipurpose Hall of the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST).
The events, including poem recitation (English & Malayalam), elocution, story writing, poem writing, essay writing, social tweet, pencil drawing, collage, newspaper design, and choral poem recitation, witnessed enthusiastic participation from M.E.S. students, comprising boys and girls across the Junior, Secondary, and General (Group) categories.
The individual prize details for various events are as follows:
Vishnu Vinod in Krishnan in elocution – English; Goutham Praveen Kumar, Muhammad Hasbin in poem recitation – Malayalam; Jeffin John Punnoose in essay writing – English; Atheequr Rahman in poem recitation – English; Aariz Mazood Khan in story writing – English; Devanand Daha and team in newspaper design; Nadia Anzar in essay writing – English; and Evana Binu in pencil drawing bagged the first prize in their respective categories of the contest. Muhammad Shan Shefy and Nadia Anzar in social tweet – English; Ayaan Mohammed in pencil drawing; and Ishaan Andisserri in poem writing – English secured the second place in their respective categories.
The school management, principal, and staff congratulated all the participants for achieving this collective success. Mr Abdul Karim, Mr Sudhir, Mr Davidson T, Mrs Kavitha Rajan, Mrs Renitha, and Ms Delphy meticulously coordinated for the success of the participants.
