M E S DOMINATES QATAR CLUSTER TAEKWONDO COMPETITION, SECURING OVERALL RUNNERS-UP WITH 10 STUDENTS QUALIFYING FOR CBSE NATIONALS IN INDIA

In a spectacular display of grit and determination, the taekwondo team from MES Indian School secured a total of 44 medals at the CBSE Cluster Taekwondo Championship, held at Ideal Indian School from 6th to 12th May 2025, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication in both the girls’ and boys’ categories.

M.E.S. competed across various categories, viz. under 14, 17, and 19, in both boys and girls. Their exceptional feat resulted in an impressive medal tally. In the girls’ U14, U17, and U19 categories, the MES team finished as Overall First Runner-Up, winning 8 Gold, 8 Silver, and 9 Bronze medals, while the boys secured 1 Gold, 7 Silver, and 11 Bronze medals. Adding to this stellar achievement, 10 students from MES Indian School have qualified for the prestigious CBSE National Taekwondo Championship, which is scheduled to be held in India later this year. This marks a significant milestone and brings great pride to the school community.
