M.E.S. Indian School triumphantly emerged as the champions of the CBSE Qatar Cluster Athletic Meet 2025, jointly hosted by MES Indian School and M.E.S.I.S Abu Hamour Br. at the sprawling ground of M.E.S. Indian School from 29th April to 1st May 2025.
The event brought together the finest young athletes from the CBSE schools across the nation, converging for a spirited celebration of strength, speed, and sportsmanship. Competitions were held in three categories viz, U-14, U-17 and U 19. In a fiercely contested battle for supremacy, M.E.S. Indian School emerged victorious, clinching the coveted Overall Championship Trophy, a triumph that encompassed months of relentless training, and dedication. The school has thus established an unassailable sporting legacy of retaining a winning spree for more than two decades in the CBSE Qatar Cluster Athletic Meet.
The event culminated in a resplendent closing ceremony graced by Mr. B.M Siddique, President, M.E.S Governing Board, Mr. Badarudeen Ghulam Mohyuddin, Director, Sports and Games, and Mr. Usman A.T, Treasurer, M.E.S Governing Board, Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Principal, M.E.S Indian School and Mrs. Prameela Kannan, Principal, M.E.S.I.S, coaches, and participants of all Indian schools. Amidst jubilation and thunderous applause, the team MES lifted the Champions Trophy.
Mr. Salim J. Nadaf, Head of the Physical Education Department, along with the athletic coaches, Mr. Steeson Mathew, Mrs. Gigy Abraham and Mrs. Nazanin S Nadaf, trained the students.
