M.E.S GUIDES ATTEND TRAINING CAM

The Guides of M.E.S. Indian School attended a training camp for Guides, organised by the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association on 24th February 2024, at Ideal Indian School on the theme “Sustainability and World Thinking Day.”

The camp started with a formal function and was followed by ‘Yell and Clap’ and ‘Patrol Flag Designing’. Various training sessions such as self-defence, knots, fire and safety, camp essentials etc., were organised by different trainers of the school. The orientation had the presence of the officials of the Qatar Scouts Association, which included Ms. Sara Al-Sultan – Scouts Activities Consultant, Ms. Muna Jumah Al Mansouri – First Scout Activities Expert and Ms. Paramjeet Kaur Bhullar -Trainer / Coordinator Expats Schools, Qatar Scouts and Guides, and the school officials.

Guides benefited from the camping essentials, knots, self-defence, fire and safety etc. The session concluded with the celebration of the birth anniversary of Lieutenant-General, Baden Powel, the founder and first Chief Scout of the worldwide Scout Movement, and prize and certificate distribution for the winners of various events. M.E.S Indian School won the second position in the Yell and Clap competition. The training camp was informative and engaged the participants with a wide range of activities
