With an objective to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles among students and staff M.E.S Indian School organized a month-long sports activities to celebrate Qatar National Sport Day. The Department of Physical Education conducted various competitions for staff and students which brought people together with fun activities that can translate to healthier lives.
Inter House sports activities were conducted with a wide variety of sporting options for students and staff spreading awareness about the importance of sports and physical activities among students of various age groups. Students enthusiastically participated in all the events including the formation and drills in jerseys with an effort to win accolades. The school governing board members showcased their talents in football and volleyball competitions, thus bringing a unified spirit of sportsmanship with the school staff. All the winners were presented with certificates and trophies by the members of the management, school officials during the felicitation ceremony. M.E.S Indian School participated in several competitions conducted by various organizations across Qatar.
Dr Hameeda Kadar, the Principal congratulated all the winners and participants for their stupendous efforts and remarkable achievements. She also commended the Department of Physical Education for the smooth conduct of the event. ‘M.E.S has always been at the forefront in extending its enthusiastic participation and support to national events, and ensured the optimum participation of students,’ she remarked.
