M.E.S INDIAN SCHOOL CLINCHES FIRST RUNNER-UP TITLE WITH STELLAR TOURNAMENT PERFORMANC

MES Indian School secured the First Runner-Up position in the Inter School Handball Tournament organised by The Alpha Cambridge School recently. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from several schools across Qatar, highlighting the competitive spirit among young athletes in handball competitions. In a tightly contested tournament, MES Indian School secured the First Runner-Up position after delivering commendable performances throughout the contest.

A notable achievement was the recognition of Shayaan Asif Sayyed (X-D), who was awarded the Best Goalkeeper Award for his exceptional defensive skills and outstanding goalkeeping agility throughout the matches. The team was skillfully coached by Mr Mohamed Navas from the Department of Physical Education, whose dedicated training and strategic preparation significantly contributed to the team’s success. The school Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar, congratulated the students and the coach for their remarkable performances and appreciated their hard work, discipline, and teamwork, which brought honour to the school.
