M.E.S-KG SECTION CELEBRATES RED DAY

With the objective of providing a meaningful learning experience and kindling curiosity and appreciation for the vibrant world around students, the KG Section of M.E.S Indian School celebrated the ‘Red Day’ recently. The day was a vibrant mix of fun activities, learning experiences, and wonderful moments shared between students, parents, and staff.

Red, which is often linked with energy, vitality, and passion, became the focal point as our young ones wore their brightest red outfits. Gathered at the KG Hall, children sang and danced with joy. The cheerful beats and happy faces set the perfect tone for the festivities. Following the dance, the children showcased their confidence during the Stage Swagger – Ramp Walk. Dressed up as different characters, they walked down the ramp with pride and style, delighting everyone with their charming presence. The literary talents of our young learners were on full display during the Red Rhythm Rumble – Poetry Recitation. Students eloquently recited a poem themed around the colour red. ‘Red on My Plate’ was an exciting activity at the event.

In a wonderful display of creativity and enthusiasm, students dressed up as various red fruits and vegetables, such as juicy strawberries, crunchy apples, bright tomatoes, and fresh red peppers. This activity was aligned with the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV 2030), promoting healthy eating habits and the importance of nutritious diets among young learners. To further spark their creativity, children also participated in delightful hands-on craft activities. They made colourful paper ice creams using red-coloured materials and created charming red heart shapes by sticking star stickers onto them. The active participation and encouragement from the parent community added warmth and a deeper sense of community spirit to the occasion. The school Principal, Dr Hameed Kadar extended heartfelt thanks to all the parents for their active participation and support. She emphasized the vital role of parental involvement in school activities and urged everyone to continue engaging in future events. The Red Colour Day celebrations successfully combined joy, learning, creativity, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles, leaving lasting memories for everyone involved.
