M.E.S KINDERGARTEN HOSTS ENCHANTING K.G DAY CELEBRATIONS WITH ‘WHIMSICAL WONDERS’ AS THEME

M.E.S Kindergarten recently hosted its enchanting K.G Day celebration under the theme ‘Whimsical Wonders’ at the school’s open-air auditorium. The event commenced with a gracious ceremonial welcome extended to the Chief Guest, Ms. Bindu N. Nair, Second Secretary (Information, Culture & Education), Embassy of India. The presence of esteemed Governing Board Members from M.E.S and I.E.S Education City, Chittilappilly, further elevated the significance of the occasion.

The young performers mesmerized the audience with a captivating welcome dance that beautifully traced a journey “from the sands of Arabia to the vibrant hues of India’s tricolour,” showcasing elegance, energy, and cultural richness. A breathtaking moment unfolded as the highlight of the event, a giant storybook prop at the centre of the stage was magically opened using a Magic wand by the school principal Dr. Hameeda Kadar along with the Chief Guest Ms. Bindu N Nair, Mr B.M. Siddique, President, M.E.S Governing Board, Dr. Najeeb, General Secretary, Mr Ahamed Isham, Director of Co-Curricular and Cultural Activities, and school officials symbolizing the beginning of the whimsical journey woven through the children’s performances.

The Chief Guest, Ms Bindu, in her address, applauded the school’s continuous efforts in holistic development. She also added that M.E.S Indian School endeavours for the holistic growth of students and provides an adequate platform for them to grow and develop into the best individuals. Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal, addressed the gathering, appreciating the children’s spirited performances and acknowledging the parents for their constant support in making the celebration a success.

The Kindergarten stage transformed into a spectrum of varied hue and colours replete with vibrant imagination as children brought a series of magical themes to life. From the joyful Balloon Dance to the vibrant charm of Gaon Ki Rangoli, each performance radiated energy and sparkle. Little ones enthralled the audience through whimsical worlds. The celebration culminated with a spectacular dance performance where the teachers joined their little stars on stage. The magical journey came to a graceful close as the principal folded the storybook, symbolizing the end of a whimsical chapter filled with wonder and unforgettable memories. Earlier, Ms Sufera Ashraf, Head of Section welcomed the gathering. The programme was seamlessly anchored by Ms Suja Mathew, Academic Co-ordinator of the K G Section.
