To share information, foster creativity among students, and build a stronger sense of community within the school, M.E.S Indian School launched M.E.S 19.74 FM on Wednesday 23rd April 2024 thus creating yet another milestone in the Golden Jubilee year celebrations of the school.
The launch-programme started by invoking the blessings of the Almighty followed by a welcome note by master Aryan Unnikrishnan- Head Prefect. The finalists of RJ competition were honoured. Logo was released along with a theme music. The Chief Guest, Mr. Anvar Hussain, Co-Founder and CEO- QFM Radio Network, Qatar and VOK Communications, Dubai spoke on the influence as well as reach of radio among youngsters,as it opens plethora of possibilities. The Guest of Honour, Miss RJ Ashtamy, Radio Suno 91.7 FM remarked that this Radio will serve as a dynamic platform for students to voice their opinions, share their stories and thoughts, and engage themselves in meaningful ways.
Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal, MES Indian School urged the students to participate in Radio FM19.74. The school believes that the diverse voices and perspectives within the community are invaluable, and the radio provides a perfect platform to amplify them.
