M.E.S Indian School observed the Constitution Day of India with great enthusiasm on 26th November 2024 to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India on the same day in 1949. Morning assemblies were conducted in all sections of the school in honour and glory of the occasion, where students demonstrated their knowledge and understanding of the constitution’s preamble, fundamental rights and duties.
The assembly started with an inspirational speech on the salient features as well as the principles of the Constitution of India, and the preamble of the Constitution was read for everyone’s understanding. Students also spoke eloquently about the formation of the Constitution and the significance of the Constitution of India. They showcased their understanding of the Constitution through placards and posters. A video shared by the CBSE created awareness about the day, and a drawing and colouring activity was carried out wherein the students drew pictures related to Constitution Day.
