As a part of the Ahlam Ramadan activities, the Department of Arabic & Islamic Studies, M.E.S Indian School organized a Trivia Quiz for the students of Grade VIII on 10th February 2025.
The competition featured four teams namely Firdouse, Rayan, Sidra, and Rawdah, each consisting of four members. The quiz was conducted in an intense and competitive series of rounds engaging both the participants and the audience. Team Rayan and Team Rawdah shared the first position, while team Firdouse secured the second place and team Sidra finished third in the contest. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with around 300 students as the audience, cheering and supporting the teams.
The venue was thoughtfully decorated, creating a perfect ambience that resonated with the spirit of Ramadan. The successful execution of the quiz was a result of the dedicated coordination by Mr Manasul Ansari, Mr Ameen Ahsan, Mrs. Sumitha Nassar, and Ms Shaheen Zubaida. The event received immense support and guidance from Mr. Usman Mayyeri, Head of Department.The Trivia Quiz not only tested students’ knowledge on Ramadan and the Quran but also fostered a spirit of teamwork and healthy competition. Earlier, Mr. Manasul Ansari extended a warm welcome to the audience. The event was hosted by Mr. Ameen Ahsan as the Quiz Master. The school officials, teachers and students attended the quiz programme.The Results are as follows:Mohd Rihan 8-E, Mohd Ehan 8-E, Mohd Abaan 8-E, Mohd Rishan 8-E, Ameen Shareef 8-C, Abdul Razzaq 8-F, Mohd Ayman 8-F and Ayaan Sadique 8-J bagged the first prize. Aaesha Fathima 8-N, Ziya Fathima 8-N, Afizah 8-P and Nezmin Noufal 8-N won the second prize and the team consisting of Safa Siraj 8-N, Safa Shaikh 8-N, Khadeeja Nehda 8-P and Naifah Afsal 😯 secured the third position.
