To foster a bond with environment, and learn about sustainability, the Junior Section of M.E.S Indian School organized a Harvesting Day at the Green Garden on 6th January 2025. The event marked the culmination of efforts that began in October when gardeners and students planted a variety of vegetable seeds.
Dr. Hameeda Kadar congratulated the productive efforts of the school and encouraged that such eco-friendly initiatives will promote environmental awareness and motivate students about developing and protecting the green world besides providing an opportunity to learn about the importance of fresh vegetables and sustainable gardening. The unit members, along with the CCF leaders, carried out the harvesting process.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for the students to learn the importance of fresh vegetables and sustainable gardening. It also emphasized the value of responsibility, teamwork, and the joy of reaping the rewards of their hard work.
