MES Indian School takes immense pride in announcing the remarkable achievement of its student, Athwif Abdullah of Class XI, who secured a Silver Medal at the prestigious CBSE National Athletics Competition, held at Sant Atulanand Convent School, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
This year’s championship witnessed a participation of more than 3,400 athletes representing 1,200 schools from across the country, making Athwif’s accomplishment all the more commendable. His outstanding performance and record-breaking achievement mark a historic moment for M.E.S. Athwif’s relentless training, perseverance, and determination paved the way for this glorious victory, setting an inspiring example for his peers and future aspirants.
In another historic first, Athwif Abdullah has also become the first student from Qatar to qualify for the School National Athletics Competition organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), representing CBSE. This milestone further adds to the school’s legacy in the field of sports. Adding to the school’s achievements, Adriel Cyrus Daniel Sanjay of Class X secured the 10th Position in the Boys’ Under-17 High Jump, demonstrating commitment, and sporting spirit in the national arena.
