M.E.S PRINCIPAL CONFERRED WITH PRESTIGIOUS NARI SHAKTI AWARD FOR ADVANCING EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

In a moment of immense pride for M.E.S. Indian School, Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal, was honoured by the Embassy of India, Qatar, for her exemplary service to the Indian community and outstanding contributions in the field of education and making impactful contributions to fostering India’s image abroad and empowering the Indian diaspora.

The prestigious felicitation took place during a grand ceremony on Friday, 9th January 2026, at the ICC Ashoka Hall, when H.E. Mr Vipul, Ambassador of India to Qatar, presented a memento to Dr Hameeda Kadar, acknowledging her distinguished leadership in education and unwavering commitment to academic excellence, contributing to the growth and integration of the Indian expatriate community in Qatar.

Themed ‘Bridging Nations, Building Futures,’ the event was held as part of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebrations, organised by the Embassy of India in association with the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC). The occasion also marked Nari Shakti – the power of women, during which the Nari Shakti Samman was presented to distinguished women achievers of the Indian community in Qatar.

The M.E.S. Management, officials, teaching and non-teaching staff extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr Hameeda Kadar on receiving this prestigious honour and distinguished accolade.
