M.E.S RELEASES GOLDEN JUBILEE YEAR EDITION OF SCHOOL MAGAZINE

In a solemn function held at the Conference Hall, MES Indian School released its highly anticipated milestone edition of the school magazine, ‘The Clarion,’ chronicling the landmark accolades, including the school’s fifty years of excellence in education, remarkable creativity, literary talent, and diverse perspectives of its students, academic accomplishments, cultural events, sports, and student creativity.

The august occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Najeeb K.P., President Officiating, as the Chief Guest. Accompanying the chief dignitary included the members of the school management. Their presence elevated the event to a stature of grandeur and significance. Amidst jubilation, ‘The Clarion 2023 & 2024’ was released, followed by a soft inauguration of the magazine’s content pages displayed on an electronic monitor.

The school Principal, Dr. Hameeda Kadar, in her address stated that ‘The Clarion’ is not merely a magazine; it is the living, breathing chronicle of the institution’s intellectual, creative, and cultural journey. Further, she expressed her gratitude to the Government of Qatar, the dedicated team of officials from the Ministry of Education & Higher Education, and the Embassy of India for their guidance and constant support in all the educational endeavours.

The Editor of the school magazine, Mr. Rex, in his report, underscored the magazine’s evolution and its vital role in nurturing students’ creativity and scholarly expressions. Mrs. Magdelene Sylvia and Mr. Davidson, both members of the teaching faculty in the Department of English welcomed the gathering and proposed a vote of thanks respectively for the event.
