MES Indian School has yet again attained the highest distinction conferred upon educational institutions by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoE&HE), receiving the prestigious Diamond Category Award for the academic year 2025–2026. This marks the consecutive year of this remarkable achievement under the flagship project “My Values Define My Identity.”
The school emerged among the top-performing institutions selected from more than 350 schools across the State of Qatar. The recognition was awarded in appreciation of the school’s exemplary execution of the project through five key initiatives: Aseel, Brotherhood, Safe Sailing, Fit-rah, and My Well-being is a Trust. Adding further distinction to this achievement, the school successfully accomplished 100% implementation of all activities mandated under the initiative. Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar along with process owners received the prestigious certificate on behalf of the school during the closing ceremony held at the MoE&HE Headquarters on 3rd June 2026. “This accomplishment reflects the collective dedication of our educators, students, and coordinators who have worked tirelessly to translate vision into meaningful action,” remarked the school Principal. Master Mohammed Muaaz of Class XI, the Student Ambassador representative of the project, was also honoured at the ceremony and delivered an address, highlighting the impact of the initiative.
The project was successfully coordinated under the leadership of Mr. Usman Mayyeri, Head of the Department of Arabic, Urdu, and Islamic Studies, along with dedicated Section Coordinators including Ms. Nazia Zahoor (Boys), Ms. Sumitha Nasser and Ms. Shaheen (Girls), Ms. Farhana Nazeer and Ms. Limy Mol (Junior), Ms. Nazima Ali, and Ms. Rahna Nazir (Kindergarten).
The school management lauded the entire team comprising the process owners, teachers, students, and parents for their exemplary commitment, coordination, and pursuit of excellence in implementing this transformative initiative.
