The Scouts and guides of M.E.S Indian School, were privileged to witness the Qatar Halal Festival 2024 which is a cultural event that showcases the heritage and tradition of sheep and goat breeding in Qatar and the region. The festival aims to promote the national identity, food security and economic opportunities of the livestock sector in Qatar and the GCC states.
The festival is organized by the Cultural Village Foundation, Katara) and takes place from February 21 to 26 in the southern area of Katara. The festival includes pavilions for productive families and art workshops. The Scouts and guides of M.E.S got an opportunity to have a pleasure ride on camels.
The festival attracts visitors and enthusiasts of Halal and highlights the rich and diverse culture of Qatar. Mr Syed Salman Naimi, the President of the Qatar Halal Festival appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the Scouts & Guides of M.E.S Indian School.
