Johan Jobsy, a student (Class VIII) of M.E.S Indian School, has garnered international recognition for his exemplary performance in five prestigious global chess tournaments. Competing in the Classical, Rapid, and Blitz formats, Johan has demonstrated remarkable analytical ability, strategic foresight, and composure under pressure — qualities that have firmly established him as a rising star in the international chess community.
He has outshone other competing international players from as many as 7 countries in the 1600–1800 ELO category of the 13th International Lille University Classical Chess Tournament- France held recently by winning first prize and gained +111 Classical ELO points.
