To highlight the significance and foster a deeper appreciation for Hindi language and its rich cultural heritage, the Embassy of India recently celebrated the World Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm. About 14 students from M.E.S Indian School contributed captivating performances in dance, poem recitation, and “show and talk” segments. In the poem recitation competition, Gautam Jinesh of Class VII achieved the third position among 30 contestants.
A total of 115 participants, including students, teachers, and parents from seven Indian schools, took part in the event that featured a range of competitions and activities aimed at celebrating and promoting Hindi language and culture. Participants showcased their proficiency and appreciation for the Hindi language through speeches and poem recitations. Traditional songs, dances, and skits in Hindi were also performed, celebrating the vibrant cultural heritage associated with the language.
The event showcased the participants’ linguistic and cultural talents and strengthened the bonds within the Indian community in Qatar. The Embassy of India expressed gratitude to all participants and schools for their support and reaffirmed its dedication to promoting Hindi on international platforms. The enthusiastic participation of students, teachers, and parents from various Indian schools highlighted the collective commitment to preserving and promoting Hindi as a global language.
