Students of MES Indian School brought international recognition to the institution by winning the “Leadership in Sustainable Innovation” award at the 2025 Youth Innovation Campaign – Collaborating to Improve and Protect Our Planet (CIPP), organized by the International Centre for UNESCO ASPnet (ICUA).
Held on 16 November 2025 and officially communicated through the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the competition witnessed participation from over 30,000 students across 36 countries. The results were announced on 1 February 2026.Representing MES Indian School, Ishak Syed, Ismail Syed, and Mohammed Shahul Hameed of Class VIII J presented a science poster and video under the theme “Protecting Water Resources,” focusing on water conservation, pollution prevention, and sustainable water management. Their project stood out for its originality, scientific application, and leadership-driven approach to global water challenges. The students’ work will be showcased at the award ceremony scheduled for March, where their project will also be a part of the official exhibition. The achievement also provides opportunities for the winners to attend international summer and winter camps in China, supported by the organizers.
