In an exceptional honour and achievement that Maria Theresa Jacob, the captain of girls’ cricket team of M.E.S Indian School has been selected to represent Qatar in the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Region Qualifiers, scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 7th May to 20th May 2025.
Maria’s selection to the Qatar Women’s National Cricket Squad is due to her constant performances and precisely her impressive performance in the Qatar Cricket Association Women U19 T20 League.
The school management, Principal and staff extended their heartfelt congratulations to Maria’ phenomenal achievement. Dr. Hameeda Kadar commended her accomplishment stating, “We are immensely proud of Maria’s achievement which motivates students who are passionate in sports and games.
