The boys’ football team of MES Indian School achieved a historic win by securing the second runner-up position in the School Olympic Program-Ramadan Cup Football Competition held at Qatar University recently.
Competing against 32 teams from both public and private schools across Qatar, MES Indian School emerged as the first Indian school to reach this level in the tournament’s history. The team’s remarkable performance showcased exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination, marking a proud moment for the institution. The School Olympic Program-Ramadan Cup is one of Qatar’s prestigious football tournaments, featuring intense competition among the best of young talents from various schools.
The team’s outstanding achievement highlights its commitment to sports excellence. The school Principal, Dr Hameeda Kadar congratulated the team and the coaches, Mr Binoy K K and Mr Akbar Ali for their hard work and dedication.
