MES INDIAN SCHOOL EVENING SHIFT CELEBRATES GRANDPARENTS’ DAY WITH WARMTH AND GRATITUDE

The Evening Shift of M.E.S. Indian School celebrated Grandparents’ Day on 9th and 10th September 2025 with heartfelt reverence, honouring the love, wisdom, and guidance that grandparents impart to their families. The celebration brought together grandparents of students from Grades 1–8 on the first day and from the K.G. Section on the second, filling the campus with warmth, joy, and gratitude.

The programmes began with a Prayer and the National Anthem, followed by a Welcome Speech that set the tone for the day. A graceful Welcome Dance by students added colour and vibrancy to the occasion. The gatherings were enriched with the inspiring words of the Senior Vice Principal, Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath, who highlighted the irreplaceable role of grandparents as pillars of wisdom, guidance, and family values. A specially curated Video Presentation evoked smiles and tears alike, as precious moments with grandparents were projected on screen, creating an atmosphere of nostalgia and love.

To heighten the festive spirit, a series of Fun Activities engaged grandparents and children alike, creating moments of laughter and lively participation. Winners were recognised during the Prize Distribution Ceremony, and all grandparents were appreciated for their presence and enthusiasm. The events concluded with a Vote of Thanks, reflecting the school’s commitment to fostering bonds of love and respect across generations. Mrs. Mubeena, Mr. Ashiq, Mr. Aboobacker, Mr. Afsal, Ms. Mariam, Mrs. Aliya Jaben, and Mrs. Jarsina coordinated the entire programme.
