The Evening Shift of MES Indian School commemorated Teachers’ Day on 4 September 2025 with dignity and gratitude, honouring the indispensable contribution of teachers in shaping the character and future of students.

Organised by the Student Council in collaboration with the faculty, the day commenced with a special assembly that featured cultural performances and heartfelt tributes. Class-wise programmes across the school added vibrancy, as children expressed their admiration through creative performances. A Card-Making Activity and a poster display on the theme “I Love My Teacher” showcased students’ artistic talents and deep appreciation.

To make the occasion more memorable, fun games and activities were arranged for teachers, offering moments of joy and relaxation. Students also presented a short video, “The Role of a Teacher”, emphasising the multifaceted responsibilities of educators and their lasting influence on young minds.

Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Principal, praised teachers as guiding lights in every child’s educational journey. She also commended the collaborative efforts of students, staff, and the Student Council, reiterating the school’s commitment to fostering an environment of respect, learning, and holistic development. Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath, Senior Vice Principal, also attended the programme and appreciated teachers’ effort and dedication in shaping the ignited minds.
