The M.E.S Indian School (Evening Shift) is immensely proud to announce that Hafsa Shajahan, a student of Class I-C, has made her mark in the India Book of Records as the “Fastest Kid to Read One Hundred Sight Words.”
Hafsa read 100 sight words (ranging from one to seven letters) from a sheet of paper in 27.96 seconds, achieving this extraordinary feat at the age of 6 years, 4 months, and 20 days. The record was officially confirmed on September 27, 2025.
This outstanding accomplishment reflects Hafsa’s remarkable focus, fluency, and reading skills at such a young age.
